The size-dependent plastic deformation and fracture mechanism of Cu/Ag bi-metal nano-pillar with multilayer structure are investigated by atomistic simulation. The results show that the relative rotation of adjacent Cu and Ag layer plays an important role for twin process of NP with big diameter. Due to the different orientations of adjacent Cu and Ag layers, the deformation twin can be formed by decomposition of the leading dislocation. This kind of deformation will form a bend interface between Cu and Ag layers. The tilt part of bend interface induces to interface sliding.
