In the paper simulation of the polishing of copper crystal was carried out using the method of molecular dynamics. We studied the effect of plastic deformation of the sample on the change in the acoustic emission signal. Fluctuations of the sensors center of mass velocity and changes in internal structure of sample during polishing were analyzed. Samples were considered at a temperature of 1 K, 5 K and 100 K. At high temperatures, Fourier transforms were used to process the AE signal. It has been established that the nucleation and movement of dislocations in the volume of material near the sensors can be seen due to a short-term increase in the amplitude of oscillations of the received signal.
