SK Muhiddin and SB Yalavarthi and DVC Shekar, PROCEEDINGS OF THE 10TH INDIACOM - 2016 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTING FOR SUSTAINABLE GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT, 464-469 (2016).

For the past decades as Cloud Computing is becoming a major asset for small and medium scale companies which are competing with large companies either in the form of Infrastructure, Platform, Software, and out of many such aspects, computing is the main aspect. Solution for lots of computing techniques, either related to scientific, industrial or any other area, importance was given to carry out the concept of computing to get, the desired results by High Performance Computing but, the negative side of it, i.e. whether the computing tasks are leaving a positive carbon foot prints or not and what should be done to achieve these aspects which are being neglected, in this paper we have traced out the various approaches on following which not only gives the positive results related to Carbon foot prints but also if followed properly can lead to increase the efficiency of High Performance Computing.
