Title: A LAMMPS based Virtual Workspace

Abstract: CreativeC's Scorpii product combines GPU based massively parallel computation and current generation visualization to create a virtual workspace capability. With this product, simulations can be run on two hybrid compute nodes with 8 GPUs. Using the VMD tool, we will demonstrate the visualization of several MD simulations on a 9 panel 20 Mpixel Stereoscopic display system. We will also demonstrate a 1M particle steered simulation capability. In this demo, workshop participants will be able to view and steer the dynamics of the simulation in real time.
