OVITO 3.0: A powerful data analysis and visualization solution for LAMMPS users
The first part of this talk will provide a look behind the scenes of the simulation study presented by the keynote speaker and my co-author Vasily Bulatov, discussing the novel "in-silico microscopy" tools and algorithms that we have to developed to perform on-the-fly analyses of large-scale LAMMPS simulations of dislocation plasticity. In the second part of my talk I will introduce the new upcoming program release of OVITO, the popular data analysis and visualization software for particle-based simulations. I will give an overview of some noteworthy new features and concepts and show the little gimmicks that make your life as a LAMMPS user easier.
