A Brief History of Molecular Dynamics Simulations

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations have become one of the most powerful tools to study materials from metals and ceramics to polymers and complex fluids. In this talk, I will briefly review the origins of MD simulations and highlight the contributions of some of those whose work was instrumental in getting us to where we are today.
